Glistening afar, glistening anear. The celestial body, or so its referred to by those who are capable of witnessing it, is a jewel of a galaxy. Soft, powerful light throbs at its inner planetary systems, giving much life room, strong suns that counter planets with a silk smooth ray of synthesis, a perfect environment of celestial beauty.
My first galaxy attempt! & ive spent quite some time on it, Photoshop file was 321 MB, Image done at 3000x4500 resolution, so this is posted at half size. Full size looks alot better, but i dont want to kill everyones browsers
Enjoy, and feedback is appreciated
Edit: Different resize technique to save more of the original details.
Hi! I really loved this!! I also used it as an effect in one of my drawings: --> [link]
I hope you don't mind... if you don't want me to use it, I will remove the deviation, because I lost the .xcf file, so I can't edit it. But that's ok. I haven't asked you permission before using it, so it's your right to ask me to remove it. ^^
Whilst it's more courteous to ask beforehand, it isn't too much of an issue here, since it isn't far removed from using a distort > twist filter on a lens flare for yourself.
I luv it. Swirly goodness. Awesomely realistic detail. Are you considering rendering (dunno if thats the word) in diff colors? Maybe have it inverted with the center black and then it goes to violet and blue at the edges? Just a thought. d(^^)b
