it only takes one moment of change, ever so slight, to affect the balance of everything. The fate of a world is placed in the order of relying on chaotic formations ever so present, when impossibility becomes a possibility, take a moment to think - it's but another way of survival.

Well, the terrain is terragen. The lava/eruption is a mix of painting and photomanipulation.

I must say you have greatly taken control of the bright colours. The image really has the balanced dark feeling in it.
